Greetings,

Welcome to the official website of the Gamma Zeta Chapter of Iota Phi Lambda Sorority, Inc.!

It is my sincere honor and privilege to welcome you to Gamma Zeta.

Since our chartering on April 26, 1956, seven visionary women planted the seeds of what would become a remarkable legacy of sisterhood, professional excellence, education, leadership, and service in the Hampton Roads community. Seventy years later, their vision continues to guide us.

As we celebrate 70 Years of Gamma Zeta, we honor the Sorors who built this chapter, the leaders who carried its legacy forward, and the countless young people, families, professionals, and communities whose lives have been touched by our work.

But while we proudly honor where we have been, we are equally excited about where we are going.

Iota Phi Lambda Sorority, Incorporated. was founded in 1929 as a national business and professional organization committed to developing women, promoting business education, cultivating leadership, and serving our communities. Gamma Zeta is proud to carry that mission forward in ways that are relevant, meaningful, and impactful for today's world.

Our future requires us to think boldly, lead intentionally, and serve purposefully.

Gamma Zeta will continue to create opportunities for professional women to connect, grow, lead, and thrive. We will invest in our youth through mentoring, career exploration, education, and leadership development. We will continue to support students through scholarships and champion initiatives that strengthen our families and communities. These commitments are deeply rooted in the work Gamma Zeta has carried out for generations.

At the same time, we are embracing a new chapter for Gamma Zeta.

We are building a chapter that recognizes the extraordinary talents, businesses, careers, experiences, and ideas within our sisterhood. We are creating greater opportunities for collaboration, professional connection, entrepreneurship, economic empowerment, and community impact.
