Chapter President & 2017-2019 Eastern Region Soror of the Year

Happy New Year Sorors, Family & Friends! A new year brings new possibilities, and is a time to reflect on how to improve in all areas of life. As we continue with the sorority year, let us remember and embrace the accomplishments and distinctions of Outstanding Chapter President, 2nd place in the Eastern Region for Chapter Growth and the Youth Award, and 3rd place for Chapter Achievement. Sorors reach milestones for their years of service in the sorority; Catherine Winston has 40 Years, and KaShauna Spratley, Montrose Cones, Tracey Cones-Renshaw, and Pamela Barber has ten years of service. We hosted our 2nd Toys “U” Can’t Return Workshop at Hampton High School, as well, awarding scholarships through our local Georgia R. Bingham Iota Mother’s Assistance Program Scholarship to a deserving teenage Mother who is furthering her education by attending a post-secondary school.

We are quickly approaching our 63rd anniversary, and we have much to celebrate. Let us always remember why we became a member of this illustrious sorority, and how we can take Gamma Zeta to new heights.
